Contacts - A contact is the basic information the system stores on a specific client. Consider your contact summary page as your address book. It contains a list of ALL contacts on the system, active and inactive
Leads - A lead is an enquiry made by a potential client on a specific property. The enquiry is added via a contact form either on a property portal pertaining to a specific listing or through your Prop Data website
Profiles - A profile is generated by the system from a Lead, taking information from their enquiry that pertains to their specific interest i.e area, budget, size, property type etc.

This is a useful tool agents can use to log and update all communication pertaining to a specific lead, including recording when/if a buyer makes an offer on the property they have enquired on. . The benefit of this is that agents can keep a detailed track record of where they are at with each lead, they can also archive them if they are no longer active.
